£700 Raised for Children in Need

£700 Raised for Children in Need

Sir John Hunt has raised more than £700 for Children in Need this year. Students were able to wear their own clothes instead of uniform for a day in return for donating £1.

In addition to this we ran several other activities including a penalty shoot out, a retro games competition and Mrs Long’s fancy dress fundraiser. Mrs Long spent the day dressed as a crocodile and this activity alone generated £138.

We aim to meet our £800 target with the final event taking place on Friday 1st December which will be the annual Children in Need Talent Show which is being held in the performance hall. This is not only a great way to raise money for the charity but also for the students within the school to demonstrate how talented they are.
