Principals UpdateDear Parents/Carers,
A busy start to the term with holiday master classes, Year 11 prefect camp, trips to the theatre, sports fixtures, science of fireworks event and lots more.
We are lucky to have such incredible staff that give this time freely to support our student’s learning and enrichment activities.
The Enrichment Week launch has been very successful and I am looking forward to students having the opportunity to take part in new experiences.
Plymouth Marjon University have written to me this week informing me that 3 of our students have recently graduated; Chloe Foss – BA in Sports Development; Devon Latimer – BA Hons in Children and Young People and Tonie-Marie Hammacott – BA Hons Primary Education. I am very proud that our students go on to do some amazing things.
This year Miss Williams has set down a challenge to all Year 9, 10 and 11 students that we will have the highest number of downloads for the GCSE Pod. We would be very grateful if you can ask your son or daughter to show you a pod and if you can encourage them to watch/listen to 5 pods each day. This is a fantastic way to revise and we have seen the impact that just 5 pods a day can have on their results.
I am looking forward to seeing you at the Year 7 and 9 Parents Evening on the 9th November and the Sixth Form Open Evening on the 13th November.
