High Praise for College Open EveningOn Monday evening we welcomed potential students and their families from various local primary schools to Sir John Hunt. Throughout the evening they took part in a host of activities organised by all departments which gave them more insight into the College, our students, teaching and learning. Guests were escorted around by the new Year 11 prefects and Sixth Form students and were invited to meet teaching staff in the dining hall to discuss subjects over a welcomed cup of tea and a selection of delicious cakes.
Mrs Bevan welcomed the families into a packed performance hall and gave a speech reinforcing the message to the community that we are indeed a school to be very proud of, with many great achievements. The evening was a great success with much praise for our staff and students.
