Singing for Schools at Sir John HuntIt is no surprise that singing is good for us and this was brought to life in the most epic fashion in our March signing event. The entire Year 7 cohort filled our performance hall and worked tirelessly all morning to put on a performance for parents and family at lunchtime. The positive energy was everywhere, with all of the students joining in with performances of:
Riptide by Vance JoyThe students were conducted by Jenny Cleverley from Singing for Schools who said "Music is like sport it is an excellent exercise, it encourages participation and teamwork". Singing for Schools runs inclusive workshops within schools and colleges.
