Year 7 Students Attempt Tenner Challenge

Year 7 Students Attempt Tenner Challenge

Year 7 students are well underway with this year’s Tenner Challenge. The month long campaign set up through Young Enterprise enables students to learn valuable employability and enterprise skills by setting up their own business with a £10 starting fund.

Each of the thirty students taking part were given a £10 note and have now set up their own money making businesses. Activities range from cake baking to tuck shops, dog walking and car washing. Throughout the process students will learn how to cost items, plan and budget as well as how to communicate and develop their mathematical skills.

At the end of the campaign all monies are collected with any profit made going to College funds. The team with the most money generated will win Love To Shop vouchers.
