Sixth Form in the USANext term will see our BTEC sport students undertake a trip of a lifetime to the United States of America.
They are flying into New York before heading to Philadelphia as part of our first transatlantic trip.
The students are part of the Plymouth Argyle Football Education programme and will travel with other students and stay for just over a week.
The tour is a fantastic opportunity for the students to sample American life and build contacts for the future, while living with a host family and experiencing life in ‘the American way’.
The students will also spend time at an American University and play matches against local sides in what is expected to be an exciting and memorable experience.
As well as the educational and life experience benefits, the students will enjoy the sights of New York and Philadelphia, take in games from the NFL, NHL and NBA and raise the profile of the club and College in their roles as ambassadors of the College.
Year 13 students who are attending are: Owen Aquilina, Callum Brown, Reece Brown, Leandro Cupertino, Lynden Cooke, Jake Maloney, Kallan Malone, Taylor Harrower, Luke Bearcroft, Logan Adams, Kyle Nicholls and Ashley Marker.
