Enrichment Week – Blue Juice Surfing and Climbing TripTwenty five students spent 5 days and 4 nights camping at Sennen Cove in Cornwall. The plan was for 5 days of beautiful Cornish sunshine, climbing and surfing. The climbing and surfing went to plan however the sunshine was sometimes hiding! The group was split most days into a climbing group and a surfing group. The surfing group had lessons from Sennen Surf School, whilst Mr Salter took the climbers and tackled some of the local climbs with varying levels of success. All groups met up in the afternoon at Sennen beach to enjoy the surf and sun, (when it appeared!) with all students and staff keen to spend as much time in the sea as possible. The students were excellent, at both climbing and surfing, sometimes having to deal with the worst the weather could through at them, but never moaning and always smiling. Great fun was had by all students, each of them overcoming challenges and succeeding in both sports. It was an excellent week and a big well done to all the students.
