Extreme Nature

Enrichment Week – Extreme Nature

The week was packed full of exciting day trips, it all started with two days at Adventure Okehampton; gorge scrambling, rock climbing, high ropes and archery. All students were amazing, supporting each other with new and challenging activities.

Day three was an early start as we set off for Longleat Adventure Park, but it was all worth while as lions paced up and down the side of our coach! Some students even had the opportunity to feed the sea lions and touch the sting rays.

Day four we stayed local and visited the beautiful National Marine Aquarium, where students took a journey across the worlds oceans from the shores of Plymouth to the coral reefs of the tropics.

Extreme Nature

Last but not least, we set off to Kent’s Cavern, for the morning, exploring the 500,000 year old caves. One student stated that is was the ‘extreme’ of enrichment week. We finished the week with a big splash at Quay West!

The students and staff Mrs Laity, Miss Nicholas and Mr Case thoroughly enjoyed themselves and said that they were looking forward to next year.
