Outdoor and Adventurous ActivitiesA windy Bikeability continued this week. Once everyone got going out on the roads, the concentration levels were so high, nobody complained about the cold! Level 3 students have been learning how to negotiate two lanes of traffic and the large roundabout on Tamerton Foliot Road. It is impressive how they became more used to it and less nervous over just a double lesson. Well done to them.
The bike maintenance club starts up again this week. The bike fleet is now looking a lot cleaner and more organised from previous attendees, so thank you to all that helped.
We have a new scheme in place now for students where BikeSpace Plymouth will provide us with mountain bikes that need re-cycling and the help of their staff to fix them. BikeSpace Plymouth will also bring tools and all the necessary parts so the students can fix and customise the bikes to their needs, on the condition that they cycle them into school once fixed!
Come along every Wednesday after school to get involved.
