Students receive gold award

Students Receive Gold Award

Congratulations to the 5 students who received their KS3 passport gold award. The KS3 passport is unique to Sir John Hunt and includes a wide range of activities across all curriculum areas. Examples of which include, preparing a meal, delivering a presentation to an audience and camping out on the moors. For each activity our students complete, they receive a sticker in their planner.

While some activities take place in curriculum time, a significant number of students must sign up for activities in their own time, after school. To receive the gold award students must complete a staggering 50 activities over 2 years. Well done to all of these students who will receive 50% of their enrolment costs to the Duke of Edinburgh Award in Year 9.
