Rhino Project

Rhino Project

The winners of ‘The Big Rhino Project’ went to Paignton Zoo at the end of last term, to celebrate the winning rhino design. The students were there to see how our local zoos preserve animal conservation and try to understand the importance of animal survival, as many species are in dangerous decline. Paignton Zoo have specialists working there, which study and implement how they will conserve certain animals, which are classed as critically endangered in their natural habitat.

The students had a great day and all said, "We were shocked at the size of a white rhino and how graceful such a big animal could be!"
