Outdoor and Adventurous ActivitiesThe Duke of Edinburgh Silver team have been out over the weekend camping for two nights and carrying everything themselves. The weather was good with some amazing stars away from the light pollution of the city. They completed 28 kilometres over the three days and are now ready for their assessment in a few weeks time. On the final day they woke to thick mist, but as the morning warmed up the cloud level dropped and the team walked along the track in bright sunshine, with the tops of the clouds below them in the valley. Congratulations to them.
Year 7 camp has been launched, with a very good uptake so far. Also the Outdoor and Adventurous activities club will start in October, so any letters need to be handed in as soon as possible to student services.
